Happy Saturday! After a long week, nothing is better than sleeping in and waking up to anything other than an alarm. While weekend mornings call for going out for brunch, having breakfast in bed with your special someone is a fun and delightful way to start the weekend off right. We’re here to offer some tips to make sure your morning meal goes off without a hitch.

Having the Right Tray

To avoid food spilling everywhere and ruining your sheets, having a sturdy tray is essential.

We recommend having one with side legs and/or handles to make things a little more stable and easy to carry.

We love the one here at Wayfair.

It's a fun item to stick on your wedding registry!

Breakfast Classics (with a twist!)

Weekend mornings call for much needed relaxation. You deserve it!

Since you’ll have a little more time in the morning versus the typical weekday rush, you get to indulge in some yummy breakfast classics.

We’re talking pancakes, eggs, bacon, or whatever your bellies desire.

If you’re feeling slightly adventurous, we found this delicious Cinnamon Toast PB&J recipe at Two Peas & Their Pod.

You can a bunch more recipes on Maria and Josh’s website here!

ADD A LITTLE COLOR

Brighten up your breakfast tray with bright colors to bring some light into your day. An easy way to incorporate color is with fresh, colorful berries, freshly squeezed orange juice, or if you’re feeling decorative, a pretty flower.

We hope our tips make having breakfast in bed a fun and easy task.

Cheers to the weekend!
